All games outside in Marion are delayed one hour due to lightning. The Dome will start at 9 and follow the original schedule.

Coaches, you will need to check in at the North Gate to receive your wristbands! You will not be able to enter without them. 1 coach will sign for 3 wristbands and is responsible for distributing to the other 2.
Gate fee is $10 per day or teams playing Friday can purchase a weekend pass for $25.

Indoor game rules:
Balls hitting the roof:
◦ Any batted ball that hits the roof and carries out of the park is ruled a home run.
◦ Any batted ball that hits the roof and does not carry out is a foul ball. A batted ball that hits the roof never results in an out
Bases:
◦ Home plate is painted on the turf.
◦ 1st, 2nd and 3rd base all lie on the turf. There are no posts but strong turf gripping, very unlikely to move.
▪ If a base is dislodged, umpires / Out staff will place it back in the correct location.
• Dislodged base
◦ When a runner dislodges a base from its proper position, neither the runner nor the succeeding runner(s) in the same series of plays are compelled to follow a base out of position. (8.6.E)
◦ A runner becomes liable to be put out when, after dislodging a base, a runner attempts to continue to the next base (8.8.C) The runner is protected at the dislodged base only
• Facility Netting:
◦ Indoor facility netting is treated as fencing would be for outdoor tournaments (Same rules apply)

My apologies for the delay. The schedule is live again.
I did my best to not give anyone an earlier start than they had in the original schedule, but some just made sense due to team location and others couldn't be avoided.
If you do not have USSSA insurance, please send me your insurance if you haven't already.
Turf fields - no metal cleats, no sunflower seeds and no gum on the fields
70 min pool, finish
75 min bracket
I will send out some additional information for those of you playing in the dome.
There is a gate fee of $10 per day or $25 for the weekend (offered if playing on Friday)
Coaches will need to check in to pick up all 3 of their coaches passes! Check-in will be at the north gate. Coaches will not be admitted into the south gate without a pass. Please coordinate with your coaches to pass these out.

The schedule is taking longer to rewrite than anticipated. In addition to a team dropping, there are others that need to move due to classification changes and the complex just called and wants me to rearrange some games so they can accommodate the baseball event that is also there this weekend.
I hope to have it back out later tonight. My apologies for the delay.

Fields
The fields in O'Fallon, Edwardsville, Marion and Cape Girardeau are TURF. No metal cleats allowed! Molded cleats or turf shoes only
No gum, sunflower seeds or peanuts. The complex imposed a $250 fine (per occurrence) for teams who violate the policy.
