    WHAT IS ALL STATE:

All State is a special event that takes place at the end of each season to recognize players who have been nominated throughout the year for outstanding play, sportsmanship, attitude, or teamwork. To be eligible, players must be rostered on a USSSA team. Players will be placed on balanced teams with other players from other teams that represent the state. Each team will play a minimum of two exhibition games against teams from the same age group.

Teams receive nominations based on the following:

    • Placement in any qualifying USSSA event (Illinois or Missouri)
    • Participating in State Events (Illinois or Missouri)

Players who are nominated from tournament placement will:

    • Receive an individualized invitation to the All State Event
    • Be tagged as an All-State Nominee in the USSSA System

    PLAYER NOMINATION:

Skills Competitions

Skills Competitions will take place throughout the day (Saturday Only) on fields 1 and 5 from 9:00 – 5:30 PM.  Players can compete at any time during the day when they are not playing.  For those with the later games, we recommend you come earlier than your warm-up/game time to have an opportunity to complete.

Each player can do each drill ONE time only.  They do not have to do all three.

We will have an online leaderboard where players can check throughout the day to see where they placed and who the top ranked players are.

We will award medals to the top 2 finishers in each skill by age division.

THROWING COMPETITION – No Sign up Required – Arrive at the scheduled time or risk being unable to participate
Each participant will receive 1 throw. Participants will throw from a designated point on the field, directly in front of them towards the “outfield.” The ball will not be measured until it comes to a complete stop. The top two finishers per age group (8 – 10A/B – 10C – 12A/B – 12C – 14A/B – 14C and 16/18) will receive an award.  Softballs provided. Players are asked to shag their softball after the competition.
BASE RACE – No Sign up Required – Arrive at the scheduled time or risk being unable to participate
Participates will be timed while running from home plate, around the bases (touching each base) back to home plate. Fastest time wins! The top two finishers per age group (8 – 10A/B – 10C – 12A/B – 12C – 14A/B – 14C and 16/18) will receive an award.
DIZZY BAT – No Sign up Required – Arrive at your scheduled time or risk being unable to participate
This will be a 4-person race. Team members must spin 8 circles around a “dizzy bat” and run a specified distance. The clock will start as soon as the participant’s forehead touches a bat. One team member must be a Coach or a Parent. Teams can enter as many teams as they want, but players can only participate on one team. Example: Suzy can be on Team 1, but she cannot participate on Team 2, 3 or 4. A Coach/Parent must participate on every team, but the same rules apply. The top two teams in each division, with the shortest time, will win an award.

We will hold 2 different Corn hole tournaments during the afternoon for the 14U and older players only. The first tournament will start at 2:00 and the second at 4:00. The event will take place near the DJ and bounce houses.
